Project background
An industrial estate with limited roof area needed additional generation for a warehouse extension and had an unused retention pond.
Solution adopted
Hybrid Microgrid SolutionA pontoon-mounted array was combined with string inverters and a microgrid controller so generation could serve the warehouse and an adjacent pumping station.
- Generation served two separate load groups
- Anchoring designed for seasonal water level change
- Monitoring shared with facility team
